Western Welcome Parade!

We went to the Western Welcome Parade yesterday as a family in downtown Littleton.  This was an especially neat experience for me because it was something we did when I was a little girl and I have such wonderful memories from it.  We met my cousin Chelsea, her husband Mark & their two little girls there along with some of their friends and my wonderful parents.  My aunt Darcy (who the girls just adore) and my uncle Dirk were there also.  It was just so much fun and the girls ABSOLUTELY loved it! For sure a tradition that we will do every year here in Colorado during Western Welcome Week!

Watching the parade was such a joy! The girls were completely in awe of all the horses, floats, cheerleaders, really just everything!

Playing "Ring Around the Rosies" - Always a favorite!

Hanging out with Grandma Susie - Another favorite thing to do!

Kolbey is growing up so much! She loved the parade and eating all the same snacks that her sisters and cousins were eating!

More pics from the parade.  It is such a neat parade with so many fun things to watch.  The girls loved all the horses, especially the dancing horses.  They did a really good job on the floats also.  One of our favorites was the gymnastics one where they were doing tricks on a trampoline and more cool tricks on a vault!

Bentley, Taylor and my cousin's little girl, Quinn.  Each of the girls picked out a princess crown to wear as we walked around.

Getting to spend some fun with my little baby.  Kolbey - you are SO cute and SO much fun to be around! You loved the parade!

There was a guy walking around giving out samples of COLD soy chocolate milk.  He had a big old milk carton on his back and the girls were thrilled to have a little cup of chocolate milk right in the middle of standing on the sidewalk!

Bentley & Kendall, Taylor & Kolbey, Hayden and Quinn all wearing their princess crowns!
