P is for Preschool......

Dear Bentley,

YOU DID IT! You went to your first day of Preschool! We are SO VERY proud of you sweetheart! I know this has been a big step for you and I don't think your first day as a cute little preschooler could have gone any more perfect! You have been extremely excited ever since the day we registered you to go to school. You have had so much fun trying on all your new preschool outfits, which I must say - you have looked beautiful in all of them! I have loved listening to you and Tay talk all about what it will be like to go to school together and it has made me smile watching you and your sisters play "going to school" at our house! You guys love to get your school "pack packs" on and walk around like you have been going to school forever.....it's so cute! Wednesday was finally your time to go for real and I know you were a little nervous when we dropped you off, but when we picked you up later that day and we saw that big beautiful smile on your face I just knew you had a wonderful time! SO proud of you sweet Beny! I know sometimes it's hard to try new things, but if you take that leap of faith and believe in yourself, you really can accomplish anything! ALWAYS remember that! You are an amazing little girl and we are so blessed to have you as our daughter! Your father and I can't wait to see all you learn and do this next year as you go to preschool! We love you!

TAY QUOTES....

September 2009 - In her Sunbeam class on Sunday they talked about animals and that we should treat them kindly. Taylor proceeded to tell her teachers, "My Dad shoots birds!" GREAT!
October 2009 - "MOM! THE DIAPER GUY IS HERE TO GET THE DIAPERS!!!" (This is what Tay yelled to me when the trash guy came the other morning.)
October 2009 - "Hayden, I want to kiss you a hundred many kisses!"
October 2009 - Some spanish speaking people came to our front door the other morning looking for other spanish speaking people and after they left Taylor said, "Mom, what did they want? Did they want our car? I think that they wanted to buy our car."
November 2009 - Taylor had a friend over yesterday (a boy) and when they were deciding what they wanted for lunch Taylor asked him, "Hey Talan, do you want girl cheese sandwiches or boy cheese?"
November 2009 - While looking at the globe in the playroom Taylor asked me, "Hey mom, where's Arizona?" (showed her) "Where's Colorado & Idaho?" (pointed those out as well)....."Oh, where's Super Target?"
January 2010 - On Taylor's soccer team their is a boy named Matteo and Taylor calls him, "Potato."
February 2010 - The girls came running inside the other day yelling that their was a bee on the trampoline. I went out and noticed it was dead so I just pushed it off onto the ground. Taylor expressed her gratitude by saying, "Oh Mom! You have no idea! You saved all our lives!"
April 2010 - "Mom, when I get older I want the lady to spray my hair blonde so I can look just like you."
May 2010 - "Mom, did you know that girls need their beauty sleep? And Boys don't get beauty sleep....they have football sleep."
October 2010 - "So if boy hunters shoot boy deer then does that mean that girl hunters shoot the girl deer?"
October 2010 - Getting ready to go scouting for deer with her father, "Oh dad I really need to get some hunting clothes for my barbie."
March 2011 - Our conversation after watching The Wizard of Oz for the 1st time, "Ok Mom so Kansas has tornado storms, but does Colorado get tornados? Oh they get snow storms...that's right! So what does Arizona get? Sunshine storms?"
April 2011 - "Mom, do you want me to stay 5 1/2 forever? I can't stop growing you know. Maybe you could be a kid like me and we could be friends.....best friends."
May 2011 - Tay has gotten really good at the monkey bars at the park and told me the other day, "Look at all my calories on my hands from the monkey bars, Mom! I must be really good at them!"

BENY QUOTES....

August 2009 - While handing me one of my bras) "Do you want to wear your boobies, Mommy?"
August 2009 - EVERYTIME we drive around and Beny see's water - like a pond, a fountain, anything with water she starts singing over and over again, "I SEE WATER! I SEE WATER!"
September 2009 - (While folding clothes the other day) "You gonna fold the stinky socks, mommy?" (Bentley calls ALL socks - clean or dirty - "Stinky")
September 2009 - "I like your jacket, Daddy! SOOO Cute!" (When Jordan wears a button down shirt)
January 2010 - After painting Bentley's nails, "NO MOM! You can't shake them! It will fall off! Just blow on them!"
January 2010 - We were shopping at the grocery store & I was ignoring Taylor in the background asking if she could buy pretty much everything in the candy eisle when Bentley said, "Taylor, not today honey. Okay. Not today."
February 2010 - Me: "Beny, can you put your pajamas in the dirty clothes please?" Beny: "No, Mom, I can't! I only have two hands."
April 2010 - Whenever I call Bentley "My Sweet Little Dear" or say "Yes, dear" she's so funny and reply's, "Mom, I'm not a deer, I'm a Bentley!"
September 2010 - While driving home one day Bentley said, "Mom, the clouds are coming home with us! Do you see them?"
September 2010 - "Trigger! Get out from under the table!" This was extremely funny to us because Trigger was laying in the next room and it was actually Jordan's hairy leg that she felt!
October 2010 - Talking about hunting...."All those deer have to hide cause they will get SHOOTED!!!"
October 2010 - "Mom, do we have to return my hair?" This is Bentley's question when we need to fix "re-do" her hair.
November 2010 - When we told the girls that we were going to the hospital to have Kolbey, Bentley's reaction was,"Oh my gosh mommy, is Kolbey going to splash out?"
November 2010 - Bentley was really interested in Kolbey's belly button cord and would constantly ask about it, but one day she said, "That's her belly button thing huh mommy? When it falls off does the tooth fairy come?"
March 2011 - It was hailing here in Colorado one day and Bentley was telling Jord about it when he got home from work, "We saw it canonballing today, Daddy!"
April 2011 - We watched the Royal Wedding of Prince Wills & Kate Middleton on t.v. and during the ceremony while the guy was speaking Beny asked, "Is that Christ's voice?"
September 2011 - I overheard Bentley telling Hayden this in the car today regarding the location Jordan & I got our Colorado Driver's License...."Oh Haydie, I know where we are. This is where Mommy & Daddy got their "Wheels Driver"
